Take me out to the ball game...

Crosby's first baseball game and it was fantastic! Brent got amazing seats- 16 rows up from the field, behind home plate. Which we can also credit to Jake Peavy giving Quinn one of his warm up baseballs before the game started... Of course, Quinn would not take his glove off the entire game and wanted to hold the "Jake Ball" the whole time too. The boys were spectacular. We were able to sit for the first few innings (cmon with two boys 2 and under quite the feat! :) Then we went to the little kids ball field at the park and Quinn showed off his skills, hitting the ball, running the bases as well as fighting the older kids for the fly balls and field position (hilarious). We made it back to our seats to sing the 7th inning stretch and watch Jake pitch a complete game and win. Quinn cheered and got carried on his dad shoulders after the game while cheering and yelling "go Padres, Padre win"- something, we so far have not been used to saying alot this season..:) Oh, also there was a hot dog and ice cream involved since Quinn needed some snacks to keep up his cheering energy. Quinn was a great example for his little brother and it was a great first game experience for Crosby- Who slept on me the entire time- such a trooper. Such a fun time! Yes, you will notice Quinn running from #rd back to second in one of the photos and then in another Brent holding him from running straight into home while another kid was batting- oh well, can't win them all:)
