Thanks for the visit!
Thanks for a fun visit to the Hullaballo concert, the fun Farmers market, for making Star Wars cupcakes and for helping us dye the Easter eggs. Also, thanks for helping to get Crosby's big boy room ready and for letting me Quinn help paint and get everything in order. We love you and will see you again soon! Love, Quinn and Crosby

Easter Fun and Baseball Season
Happy May! We have been busy with the boys swimming again on the weekends and lots of fun family and friens visits. Quinn started t-ball and is loving it and having a blast out there, if he only didn't have to remind the coach he is left handed everytime ;) and they could remember he'd be having an unstoppable time out there. He is super speedy around those bases, and an equally good batter and fielder as well. For Easter, Papa Dave and Grandma Carole Anne were here from Montana for a visit and the boys were able to enjoy a Padres game on Easter afternoon after all of the egg hunt fun. But, they made it back in time for dinner and to wear the matching shirts (cringe) Mama got them... sorry boys, I had to. Quinn and Crosby continue to be the sweetest and best of buddies with Crosby pretty much doing whatever Quinn does. This includes picking his own clothes and dressing himself, like Quinn is doing (notice the outfit on Quinn...:) Hope your Spring is wonderful! Cheers from San Diego

Petco Park Fun for Quinn and Brent
This post is long overdue-for sure but, it seems we have been busy and have so much to catch up on. We had recent visits from Aunt Heather, who hung out with Crosby while I ran the Carlsbad half marathon and Quinn and Brent came to be my cheering squad. Then Uncle Brett and cousin Kylie came in for a visit and we enjoyed Lego Land, the children's museum, and of course the beach. Brent was in Barcelona for about 10 days and we are glad he is back. Today Brent and Quinn were able to go to a special day at Petco Park for little Padre fans. Quinn loved the running around the field, eating all the free popcorn he could manage and even got to bring home a little piece of Petco Park field turf. It now holds a special place in the backyard :) Next, we enjoyed a St. Patricks day visit from Nana from Oregon. The boys got to enjoy a Lego land trip with her and we all had a great time. Thanks again for everything and the visit! Next up, Easter with the Montana grandparents and a trip to Dublin for Brent. Wishing you all well from San Diego

Happy 2nd Birthday baby Crosby!
As the saying goes- Time flies. True. Our baby Crosby is now a talking, dancing, hilarious 2 year old going on 4 year old boy. He is so sweet, loveable, smart, kind and just amazing. He is a great little brother and makes our family perfect, really. So, it was time to celebrate his first two years of his life with us! Florida grandparents came in to visit and help celebrate the party with us. We had about 24 of Crosby's closest buddies (well, ok, most of them were Quinn's friends and their brothers and sisters who happen to be Crosby's age and are his friends too) and their parents. Add a cowboy bounce house, pinata, some cake and pizza, cowboy hats, badges and maybe a little beer and some mimosas and voila- Happy 2nd birthday baby Crosby! A special thanks to Jill and Jeremy (Crosby's Godparents) who clearly have their act together and sent their view of the party and their pics out way before we could get ours together.....:) thanks again! And thanks to everyone for everything and for being a special part of the big day! XOXO the birthday boy and his brother and parents
PS- I will add some more photos within a week, and yes, that photo of Brent should become a screen saver... and no, he probably doesnt know until now that is included in the photos :)

Merry Christmas, Hello Montana!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! This year the 4 of us descended upon Northern Montana, Libby, specifically and had some snow and family fun! Aunt Heather and Uncle Donnie joined us at Grandma Carole Anne and Papa Dave's house. There was plenty of playing in the snow, snow angels, and living in a "real life snow globe" as Quinn told me. While Quinn got into the sledding, Crosby was all about eating the snow- literally- spent most of his time eating the snow. I think he was stunned he was able just pick something up off the ground and put it in his mouth for once...:) They played on the tree swing (yes, in the snow) and built a snow man with Papa Dave. Quinn and Brent created a mean sledding hill and had a blast on it. Crosby would yell, "again, again" when he would get to the end of the sledding hill. Of course, Another huge hit was Brent's old Star Wars toys from when he was a little boy. How could we even do Christmas gifts afterwards? Quinn got a real train set from Uncle Donnie and both boys got plenty of goods, thanks Santa. Santa, magically, also left a bike for Quinn and a scooter for Crosby under the tree in San Diego as well. The boys loved spending time in the jammies watching the snow fall and watching Toy Story 3 with Grandma. The boys got their first experience of pizza at the Red Dog and had fun visiting more of the Montana family up at the Bear home family cabins, where they enjoyed snow ball fights and hot cocoa with marshmallows. Crosby also enjoyed the delish Christmas dessert Aunt Heather made and yes, post bath Crosby tried to dine naked ;) Happy Holidays!! Have a great New Year and are looking forward to good things in 2011 like we are! Cheers.
