1st day of Preschool.....

Welcome to Solana Beach Presbyterian Quinn! Although he was not a total novice since he went to the 3 week summer camp for 4 hours a day, he started officially on the second Tuesday of the month and now attends two days a week, T and TH for about 4-5 hours (depending on if he stays for lunch and play with his buddies) He was familiar with his teachers and had the same classroom as summer camp (phew...) Brent and I even went to an open house parents night before school started and then the next day, Quinn took us on a tour of his school- the play areas, the learning areas and even the bathrooms...:) Quinn loves the "big boy" routine and loves taking a bath with his brother the night before school and telling his brother all about he learns at school. In fact, Quinn is more likely to tell Crosby all about his school "intel" than us so you have to listen intently...:) He loves to bring home his art and is so proud and wants to hang it all in his room. Everyday they sing their "Welcome" and "Goodbye" songs and they are even cuter when he sings them to you, trying to buy more time at bedtime.
We love the new themes, letter, shapes and colors that they learna bout each week and are excited for the "Parent Teacher conferences" in a few weeks. Quinn is getting to be such a big boy....cheers to Preschool!
