So in all of the excitement for the grandparents coming to Montana, or perhaps the gifts stacking up under the tree, the boys were itching to get some "holiday spirit" and while we have everything from Ice skating to light seeing planned over the holiday itself, we had to get a few things in to get in the spirit of the season. So, I took the boys to see Hullabaloo (Quinn's favorite kids band- check out the archived blogs from his 2nd birthday where they made a guest appearance...very cool). They were rocking out to Christmas tunes sung by Steve and since it was a rainy day in San Diego, it was not crowded-at all- :) We then all walked over and saw Santa Claus. Quinn said he would sit on his lap just so his brother felt comfortable- what a nice big brother. In the picture, you will see Santa and Quinn looking at a photo of Rudolph and discussing Christmas Eve.
Saturday morning of that same weekend, Mom and Quinn had a pancake and play date. Quinn went to his first live stage production. It was very kid friendly with lots of singing and dancing. It was- Dr. Seuss's How The Grinch Stole Christmas. It was a ton of fun and for an almost 2 hour play with no intermissions, Quinn was great! You will see him below standing by the Whoville Christmas tree right before he went in to pick out his Grinch souvenir doll...
Ah, Christmas spirit everywhere....
