Bounce House Birthday Boy....
Crosby's first birthday was lovely. He and his brothers friends and neighbors all came to celebrate with him and love him and eat cake and sing happy birthday to him. Crosby's new thing now is to blow at anything that resembles candles, flames and or anything like a lamp, blinking light, etc... so, he has a new habit to keep him busy...) he learned this while trying to blow out his party candle on his cake and watching his big brother assist him in the blowing out. Papa Ron and Grandma Claudia came in from Florida and both of the boys Godparents and kids were able to make it out for the party and a great time was had by all. There was plenty of Mexican food and there was even a champagne toast with all of the special people (who could be here...:( who have made this past year special for and with Crosby. The kids pretty much spent the entire time (hours and hours and hours- literally Quinn spent about 5 hours almost solid) in the bounce house. Coming out only to sing, have cake, get the animal masks on and then come back out for a Mexican rice eating contest (yes, Crosby and Quinn had an eating contest and honestly, the results were pretty close....) OK, so we let the party take on a life of it's own but with about 14 little ones 5 and under, what else can you do? The animal beach balls that flew around in the bounce house were also a hit but, nothing was as big of a deal as the huge ladder and slide that was inside the bounce house (long story short: this was NOT the one we had ordered- just a small little simple party one we wanted... ha!)Oh well, it all worked out, Crosby is now over a year, walking, talking and chatting all the time, eating "big boy" food like his brother and getting so big it is hard to remember him as a tiny little boy a year ago at this time. Below are some of the fun times had at the party. We missed seeing alot of you there and we know the whole "living out of town" thing can be a bit of a pain but, we ate a piece of cake for you and had a toast for you no doubt....Happy 1st Birthday Crosby!
