Why limit your 4th birthday to one day and one party? That was Quinn's motto this year so his 4th birthday started out at summer camp on Thursday with snacks, singing and his special birthday crown from his school camp friends, continued to his sports party on Saturday with his favorite buddies. You'll notice in the pics, that the dads and God dads might have had more fun than the kids. Both Crosby and Quinn got in some good photos with their God dads... precious! Quinn got a great photo with his "Gods" as he calls them, thanks Jamie and Leigh Anne for being so great to Quinn! Quinn said his favorite part of the sports party- besides the cupcakes and balloons- were the tug of war and the obstacle courses. The birthday boy then ended the weekend up with a Darth Vader themed backyard get together with some of Quinn's favorite adults who love him... We were of course sad that some of his buddies and favorite adults weren't able to make it this weekend but, that is sometimes the deal with summer birthdays and wedding anniversaries...;)We were lucky enough to have Aunt Heather come visit for the weekend, which both Quinn and Crosby were thrilled about. We also gave Papa Dave a birthday shout out on Sunday with Darth Vader cake and a Darth Vader pinata- just what he wanted...Quinn was sure of it! ;)Just to clarify, that is in fact the Darth Vader pinata on both Aunt Heather and Quinn's heads- who knew Darth Vader likes champagne so much? we knew....;)
Happy birthday to our sweet, smart, funny, beautiful, kind, amazing 4 yr old boy- you make everyday wonderful and help put a smile on all of ours faces every day- we are lucky to have gotten to share the past 4years with you! Love, your baby brother and parents.
