It was a great time. The boys loved everything from finding frogs and bats to swimming and more swimming to afternoon adventures (aka Aunt Heather and I wine tasting)to visiting the candy store and fun places in Healdsburg to going on an overnight Safari at Safari West. Quinn managed to find tractors and ride them at all the different vineyards and Quinn and Crosby were able to get close up to giraffes, zebras and a cheetah at Safari West. We stayed in a room where we looked at giraffes all night and listened to the loudest, craziest birds the savanna had to offer...:)- pictures of that trip will be coming shortly...
We spent time at the local lake, picking blackberries, looking for fish and I was able to go for gorgeous lake runs. Quinn and Crosby had a splendid time loving on Aunt Heather and loved their special loft and play areas in the house. When Brent was able to come up and visit, it was fun to have bbq's, afternoon swimming and wine tasting. Quinn tells me his favorite thing was the hot tub before bed each night and eating birthday cake on the back porch with me. It was a splendid place to celebrate my birthday, champagne and all.
Normally, I would not include pool photos but, it is really the only way to see how insanely gorgeous the view from the pool, over the pinot vineyards truly is.
We can't wait to go back and visit as soon as possible... excited to spend some time there next summer. We love you Aunt Heather, Uncle Donnie and Sonoma house...thanks for all the fun.
